Get back to your Prep results

Every Prep search now gets its own link, so you can open a novelty and come back to your results without running the search again. The Prep page also lists your searches from the last hour, showing the opponent, your color, and the filters you used, with a board preview when you searched from a custom position.

Prepare against a specific opponent

The new Prep page finds novelties tailored to your next opponent: pick them from our database or upload their games, add your repertoire, and get suggestions ranked by how likely you are to reach them on the board.

Browse real games from any position

Open any novelty and the new Games panel lists real games that reached the position on the board, with filters for Elo, date, and blitz, sortable by year, rating, and result.

Filter by sharpness

Sharpness is now a full evaluation metric: see it on every novelty and filter for the sharpest, most double-edged positions.

Find novelties that others repeated

A new "Replayed" filter and "Replays" sort highlight novelties whose move was later repeated in other games: the ideas that stuck.

Filter by move number

Narrow novelties to a range of move numbers under More, from early opening deviations to deep, late novelties.

Save novelties for later

Bookmark any novelty to keep it around. The bookmark toggle in the filter bar switches to your saved list.

A new home page

Signed-in users now land on a personal home: this week's drop at a glance, quick access to saved novelties, and the latest updates.

See what landed this week

The novelties page now shows when the latest weekly batch arrived and how many novelties it added. "View new" browses just the fresh batch, on top of your current filters.

Sort by sharpness

Rank results by how sharp the position becomes after the novelty — double-edged, tactical lines rise to the top.
